Defect 1 — Wrong Batch Number

Every seller on the Kakobuy spreadsheet should have a batch label. If QC shows a different label than the row promised, decline immediately.

Defect 2 — Loose or Trailing Stitching

Any single thread longer than 5mm on a visible seam is a red flag. Zoom in on cuffs, hems and shoulder joins.

Defect 3 — Colour Off by One Shade

Red, black, and pastel batches drift the most between orders. Always compare to a reference photo from the QC bank.

Defect 4 — Uneven Logo Placement

On jerseys especially, a badge that is 5mm off centre is instant reject territory.

Defect 5 — Missing Tags

Care tags, brand tags, size tags — all should be present. Missing tags mean either a bad batch or a repackaged item.

Defect 6 — Sole Gaps

Look at shoe photos edge-on. Any gap larger than 1mm between upper and sole is a defect.

Defect 7 — Fabric Weight Off

Ask for a hanging photo. A fabric that hangs stiff when it should drape is usually a wrong batch or wrong material.

Defect 8 — Wrong Size Ratio

Measure the size on the tag against the actual dimensions in the QC. Ratios matter as much as absolute numbers.

Defect 9 — Damaged Print

Any crack, flake or bubble in a screen print is grounds for a swap request.

Defect 10 — Musty Odour Warnings

Warehouses will note odour if you ask. Musty items usually mean stored too long — request a swap before shipping.
